Take Me Out to the Ballgame!!

Yesterday was opening day for Jay's little league. After a very windy week (that made me sick yet again) the weather could not have been more perfect for a day at the park watching the games. This year Jay is on the Rookie B Yankee's team. His coaches are great and have worked a lot with Jay this year. In just one month of practices, Jay has improved a lot. His throwing arm is great (still a lefty) but for some reason he decided to bat right handed this year. He isn't hitting as far as he was left handed, but his batting average is a lot better. Weird. He hit a double in the second inning then struck out in the third. They only play 3 innings each game. Each kid gets 6 pitches before they strike out and the inning ends when you get three outs or the offense scores 6 runs. First inning the Yankee's scored 3 and the Angel's scored 6. In each of the second and third innings the Yankee's got 6 runs and didn't let the Angels score again. Yankee's won 15-6. (Not that we are officially keeping score for the league, just so we know when the inning is over)
